Model 42-GT-SCS
Model 42 BioChem-rated™ Self-Closing Total Containment Vessel (TCV)
The Model 42-GT-SCS is the BioChem-rated™ version of the Model 42. It adds the capability to contain biochemical hazards present within an IED.
- Approved by the Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board.
- Will contain a biological or chemical hazard within an IED up to the unit's maximum rated explosive charge.
- Sampling system can be used to identify a biochemical hazard pre- or post-detonation.
- Self-closing door operates via an automatic hydraulic yoke system like the Model 42-SCS.
- The Model 42-GT-SCS can be combined with the NABCO Treatment System to remove all harmful and dangerous materials.
